The Province of Somerset in Bloom
For the green fingered amongst you, what better way to show off your pride and joy (garden that is!) than to have a 2020 Provincial Gardening Challenge?
Please use the entry form below, where entries should ideally contain 3-4 photographs with a brief (100 words or so) description.
The deadline for submissions is May 31st, after which our resident panel of experts will judge all entries and the champion gardener will receive a bottle of the finest Malt Whiskey which has been kindly donated by our Provincial Grand Master. There will also be three runners up prizes of wine from the expensive section (or at least that’s what he tells me) of our PGM’s Cellar.
The results will be announced on the website shortly after the deadline ends and I’m sure that the Provincial Grand Master will be absolutely delighted to come along to the winners next Lodge Meeting (whenever that might be!) and present him with his prize.
Remember Brethren, that like so many things in life Brethren, size is not important, so whether you have a window box or several acres, it’s what you do with it that counts; all entries will be judged on quality rather than quantity!
Winners are to be announced in the next 2 weeks. The best of luck to everyone that entered.
