Our garden is a place for relaxation and entertainment it is designed to be easily managed, it is south facing with areas of colour, shade and production. The beds are mostly perennials with roses, iris, phormium and poppies, there is a variety of trees and shrubs including silver birch, firs, hazel and plum. One of the roses has now moved three times having originally come from my grandfather’s farm now under the Chew Valley lake
We have finally subdued a large area of bamboo and established a vegetable garden with raised beds, a greenhouse and a “man-shed”
