A Special night for the OSM at Burnham on Sea
Tuesday 7th May was a special evening for the Order of the Secret Monitor at Burnham on Sea Conclave 616 when the Supreme Ruler, Wy. Bro. James Brown admitted his son Bro. Sam Brown into the 2nd Degree of the Order (otherwise known as the Princes Degree). James performed an excellent ceremony ably assisted by other Brethren of the Conclave.
The evening also included a visit from the Brethren of Round Table Conclave 610, which meets at Ilminster, on the occasion of their delivering the Somerset Provincial Travelling Arrow to Burnham on Sea Conclave
In the picture we see Wy. Bro. James Brown receiving the Travelling Arrow from Wy. Bro. Martin Straus the Supreme Ruler of Round Table. They are surrounded by Bro. Clifford House, R. Wy. Bro. Julian Frost, Bro. Ian Prestwood, Wy. Bro. John McHardy, Wy. Bro. Simon Murray.
The Travelling Arrow is quite small and fits nicely into its little box which presents itself as an ideal Carrying Case as it makes its flight around our Province of Somerset!!”
