The SMCA, who recently completed the Tour de Temples paid a visit to one of the Charities they supported with the money raised from the ride. They wanted to understand what was involved in the making of the mobility devices that enable disabled people to achieve greater independence.
Designability is the company that make Wizzybugs, which are the powered devices which help disabled children get about and allow them to feel more included with other children, it has been supported by Somerset Freemasons for many years.
Steve Collings is in the process of obtaining one of the SMCA shirts worn on the Tour de Temples, so it can be put on display at the factory.
