“Bubs” takes the Chair at The Somersetshire Lodge
At the last regular meeting of The Somersetshire Lodge, Ian “Bubs” Burbage was installed as its 123rd Master, in excellent fashion by Evan Hand.

“Bubs” has already been the Master of his Mother Lodge, forest of Mendip so taking the reins was second nature to him and he installed his officers extremely well.
As is the case at the Somersetshire Lodge the meeting was held in good form with humour and friendship abounds. Followed by the excellent carvery provided at Mark Masons Hall. In fact Russ Woodland enjoyed it so much he wants to join!
The Somersetshire Lodge meet 4 times a year in London and will always welcome guests and joining members. If you are interested please contact the new Lodge Secretary Ian Evans

The next meeting will be in March 2026, when the Somerset Provincial Team will be making their usual annual visit, this time to Initiate a new Member.
