English Channel Swim Fundraiser

Brother Nick Hammond of Prudence and Industry Lodge who meet in Chard is a former Major in The Royal Logistics Corps, and now has a civilian role with the Army. In an immense effort to fundraise for the Army Benevolent Fund, Nick with five other colleagues will swim the English Channel as a relay team. They have been training since March and it has been described as “rather cilly”. The swim will take place in June and they have set up a Just Giving page and would be grateful for any donations the brethren are able to give.
