At the Sir Isaac Newton Lodge 9801 meeting on 25th. April 2024 our WM W.Bro. William Hillis PPrGReg. announced that the Festive Board raffle money raised to be donated to the RNLI Portishead. This was following a talk to our Ladies by a representative of the RNLI whilst we were in the Temple.

On the 28th. May 2024, WM W.Bro. William Hillis [Bill], Treasurer W.Bro. Peter W D Wootton PPrGSwdB and Charity Steward Bro. Robert K Harding PPrGStdB [Bob]

attended the RNLI Portishead Branch to be greeted by Geoff Vian who gave us a guided tour of the premises and an in-depth talk on the B class Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat.

A cheque in the sum of £ 250.00 was presented to Geoff Vian who assured us that it would buy a Thermal Suit, which is worn under the dry suit.

Included below are some photos, which includes the presentation of the cheque. L to R are as follows :- Bob, Bill, Geoff and Peter. The other photos are during our guided tour, which was very informative. You can include as many as you can to try and highlight the 200 year celebration of the RNLI.
