Neighbour To Brother At Benevolent Lodge 446
A lively and vibrant Wells & Mendip Museum welcomed its latest Brother into the Benevolent lodge 446 at the end of April with the initiation of Richard Brooks. The Brethren could be biased (!) but it was a first rate ceremony with the candidate excellent throughout. The night was made even more special by father and son Sandy and Joe Guidi being both proposer and seconder for the candidate, with Sandy also being his neighbour. The historic White Hart in Wells once again hosted the festive board where the Entered Appreciate song was led by Barry Davies and the lodge performed the Entered Apprentice Chain – a ritual not that commonly seen, but one of great significance. For anyone interested in visiting Benevolent Lodge and the possibility of witnessing such ritual you are assured of a warm welcome. Please contact the Lodge Secretary via: dovell@icloud.com
