Follow up on JHF Somerset Masons £5000 Donation

Paul Hinkley, member of the SMC Committee, met up again with Pippa Gribben, CEO of The Jack Hazeldine Foundation (JHF), to find out where the funds had been channelled.

The foundation already had a scheme being implemented at the Clevedon schools, to assist vulnerable Children who may have anxiety or not much Home support, to adjust to the move from Primary to Secondary School for 30 pupils; they all spend one day a week throughout the Summer holiday with each other, two Mentors and a Teacher getting to know each other and the school surroundings. The funds given has enabled them to extend this service to Portishead and Nailsea schools, giving a further 30 Children this great support.
