Somerset visits Berkshire

Following a very kind invitation from W Bro Adrian Robson, PAGStdB, ProvGAlm, we filled a mini bus with Brethren from the three Bridgwater Lodges, Tynte Lodge, the Lodge of Perpetual Friendship No 135 and Admiral Blake Lodge No 4692, and the Lodge of St George (Taunton) to attend the Gourmet Lodge No 10008 in Berkshire.

The venue was the prestigious Phyllis Court Club in Henley on Thames and very nice it was – with the ethos of ‘good food, good wine and good company’.  So, following a very brief Lodge business meeting we all settled down to a splendid feast of fine food, fine wine and a most enjoyable evening.

A huge thanks goes out to Adrian of course, along with the W Bro Mark Heppelthwaite, DPGM of Berkshire and to all the brethren of this unique Lodge. Plus, a very special thanks to our mini bus driver, ‘The Stig’, W Bro Tony Saunter (Tynte Lodge) and ‘The Navigator’ Bro Sean Jones (Tynte Lodge)
