Southey 6650 Celebrates W Bro Alan Jenkins 50th year in Freemasonry
On Monday 18th March 2024 a great night was had at Southey 6650 lodge, firstly Worshipful Master Colin Kenyon lead his officers in the reading of ‘The First-Degree Lecture’ which was received well by all brethren and then to the main event of awarding W Bro Alan Jenkins with his 50th year certificate.
We were honoured to have present the Assistant Provincial Grand Master W Bro Anthony Guthrie who presented W Bro Alan with his certificate, who proceeded to command the lodge with his anecdotes and good humour, which in turn was well responded to by W Bro Alan who provided the lodge with an insight into his illustrious career in Freemasonry, which was also well received.
W Bro Alan was well supported by his sons Thomas and Alan (previous PM’s) and a good number of brethren from his own lodge, Showman’s meeting at Clevedon.
