Southey Lodge Ladies Night Torquay March 2024

WM Colin and his lovely lady Bianca presiding over the Ladies evening held at the Headland Hotel in Torquay,  and what a great night it was, full of fun and frivolity. A big thank you to Bianca, Colin and their small team for all their hard work, patience, perseverance and good humour in making this an eventful evening. Thanks to all our distinguished brethren and brethren all, their families and friends, who made the night such a memorable success and all those who kindly participated and donated many prizes for the Southey raffle.

In addition,  it must be mentioned, a big thank you also to those who donated for not only the silent auction but also for what can only be described as a boisterous, rowdy, rambunctious, rumbustious, lively, rollicking, obstreperous and rackety additional auction which was billed as the main event of the night. An appreciable and considerable amount of money has been raised from these delights and will be shared with Memories at the Barn, who support those living with dementia and their care partners and the North Somerset Dementia Meeting Centre who provide practical advice and emotional support for both the sufferer and their carer, and local heart charities, worthy causes I hope you will all agree.
