Membership Challenge Visit for Progressive Science

Lodge Progressive Science recently had a visit from the Deputy Provincial Grand Master and a goodly number of Provincial Officers . The subject was the Membership Challenge. With Lodge numbers in Somerset and Nationally decreasing over a number of years, the Provincial Grand Master has arranged for the rulers (and himself) to visit all Lodges in the province to talk about recruiting and retention of members. There was lively discussion and good feedback from a number of the brethren present. The lodge then carried out a 2nd degree ceremony demonstration to a high standard. The brethren then retired to the dining room for a superb meal and lively banter from the 50 attendees.
