Somerset Military Lodge Marches On In Weston Super Mare

The Somerset Military Lodge carried out an initiation ceremony recently in Weston Super Mare. The Master Matt Williams led his team and other brethren of the lodge in a superb initiation ceremony for Royal Marine, Richard Bennett. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master, Ben Batley was on hand along with the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Tony Guthrie

There were a goodly number of Grand Officers and Visitors present to witness the ceremony and enjoy the festive board which consisted of a delicious curry. Over £400 was raised to donate to a local charity and with 75 brethren present the banter was lively and made for a most enjoyable evening.
