Somerset Freemasons make their annual visit to Cadogan Court
Cadogan Court, in Exeter, on Saturday 17 th February 2024, hosted a meeting for
Freemasons organised by Admiral Blake Lodge No 4692 a tradition established in
2017.
A short history of the tracing board and lecture on the first-degree tracing board was
enthusiastically given by Chris White which was very well received by the
Brethren, with tea and cakes served afterwards.
Dr. Leo Clarke, Secretary of The Association of Friends of Cadogan Court,
said: “We are delighted to be supported by all our Brethren in Somerset, this was a
real team effort with 6 residents attending the ceremony, 12 Brethren from Admiral
Blake Lodge, 8 from Exmoor Lodge in Minehead, and a further 10 visitors totalling
36 in all. We were delighted to see Richard Winter APGM of Somerset also
in attendance supporting his Lodge, Somerset Brethren and Cadogan Court. The
enthusiasm and commitment of all the Brethren attending was inspiring”.
