Connaught Celebrate “Burns” Night”

Following a brief Business Meeting on Wednesday 17 January Connaught brethren and their
guests enjoyed a Burns Night Supper, with the mandatory whisky courtesy of the Worshipful
Master Alastair Slade. Thanks to W. Bro Craig Harding the dining room was suitably
decorated. At the appropriate moment Craig paraded in the Haggis, then gave Robbie Burns’
Address to the Haggis in a pseudo Scottish accent.

After the meal with the whisky virtually exhausted and voices suitably lubricated, Craig led
the singing of traditional folk songs.
