A team effort at Perpetual Friendship’s Installation

At their recent Installation meeting on Monday 8th January David Young was installed into the chair of the Lodge of Perpetual Friendship, with Colin Martin the PrSGW in attendance. In what was an excellent ceremony, with a great many Brethren taking part in a truly magnificent team effort, with many of the newer members taking part and conducting the work.

David only joined the Lodge three years ago, after moving down from East Kent, since then his experience and enthusiasm have been invaluable in moving the Lodge from strength to strength! Outside of Masonry David is Trustee and manager of the Bridgwater Foodbank, service the local community in these tough times.

Davis succeeds Norman Hucker (who was last in the chair in 1991) who has had an outstanding year, in both his superb ritual and organising several charity and social events, including the very successful Tri-Lodge event held in September 2023.

The Lodge has a full year ahead and as the name suggests anyone wishing to visit please contact their Lodge secretary, you will be made to feel very welcome.
