A fantastic advert for Freemasonry and a beautiful evening at Priory Lodge
What a beautiful evening at Priory Lodge, with thanks to everyone who attended and those who participated in the Installation of George Pittaway as Worshipful Master. Also, many thanks to the Provincial Grand Master for Somerset, Ray Guthrie, for supporting the evening.
The acting DC and the Installing Master were asked at the eleventh hour to step-in and, despite minimal notice, they could have been in those roles all year – an absolutely stunning performance!
The Provincial team supporting the PGM were a pleasant surprise, and everyone enjoyed the evening.
£360 was raised from the raffle and £82 from the Alms collection. The friendship and support that evening flowed all across Keynsham Masonic Hall. The meal was fantastic value for money and the stewards, officers and wardens delivered with impeccable ability and huge effort; plus wonderful speeches by the secretary, WM and PGM.
In the words of the PGM Ray Guthrie, “well done everyone who contributed to a great evening, it was a fantastic advert for Freemasonry”.
WM George Pittaway added, “my personal thanks to everyone for a fantastic evening. Your tremendous support and contributions made my Installation and the whole evening very special, one I will always remember. I am looking forward to my year as WM of Priory Lodge, working with and alongside a great team of officers and brethren”.
The next meeting will be January 12th for a family Burns Night. Until then their WM wishes everyone a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
