Nailsea Masons Support Nailsea People
Helping to Feed Local People in Crisis
Somerset Masons from Nailsea have been supporting the Local Foodbank through the Carry the Can Initiative which was started up by Wraxall Lodge member Steve Chapman.
This collective contribution was organised from an initiative by The Nailsea Hall Management Team based on the ‘Carry The Can’ project, which has been running for a year now, where instead of individual masonic lodges collecting and donating food, now collectively organises donations by all contributing lodges for the foodbank system.
On Saturday 2nd December Brethren from Estune and Wraxall Lodges who meet at Nailsea Masonic Hall delivered much needed supplies donated by Brethren of all Masonic Lodges meeting at Nailsea. to support in the distribution of food to local people.
Estune Lodge also donated a cheque for £250 presented by the WM Mark Eastaugh to help support the community foodbank to help local people over the Christmas period.
