November’s Convocation
Another educational evening at the Chapter of Sincerity
The Chapter of Sincerity 261 held their first convocation of the new season on Wednesday 9th November which was well attended with nine guests present. Eulogies were read out for E.Comps David Hartley & Sid Honniball who had sadly passed to the Grand Chapter above since the last regular convocation. The Companions then stood as a mark of respect.
The 1st A.Soj. Pete Richards was invested with his collar and Brian Pollard was installed as 3rd principal of the Chapter, in fine fashion by John Owen having both been absent at the Installation back in May.
Alms collected were £72 and the Chapter very kindly proposed that this will be donated to the fund raising efforts off Comp. Mike Norton who will be running the London Marathon in April for the Royal Osteoporosis Society. His funding page can be accessed here fundraising page should you wish to make a donation.
Companions Mike Norton and Peter Gibson then presented the Historical and Symbolical lectures respectively to much acclaim from all the Companions present.
