A Family Affair at Prudence and Industry
Proud Dad and Lodge Secretary Paul Brice-Bullows initiated his son William Bullows at Prudence & Industry Lodge, Chard. By very kind agreement from the Master Jamie Jones, Paul took the chair as Master for the first time since he was last in the chair of his Mother Lodge in Stockport in 1995. It proved to be a memorable evening for all in attendance. Paul was ably assisted in the ceremony by Director of Ceremonies Jeff Farley who explained the signs and secrets, Almoner Alan Gitsham who gave the post badge address, Charity Steward Adrian Auton worked the North East Corner Charge, Past Master John Nicholls acted as Junior Deacon and Bro Grahame Mackenzie-Green explained the Working Tools. At the Social Board, Candidate William replying to his Father’s toast said how much he had looked forward to the night and enjoyed it. Paul’s guest, Provincial Assistant Grand Secretary Steve Beach, waxed lyrical about the evening on behalf of the visitors, which topped off a super night, making lifelong memories for Father and Son.
