Call to Action at Somerset Military Lodge

The Somerset Military Lodge being a peripatetic or travelling Lodge, challenges arise with the availability of officers. This was the case at the last meeting held at Nailsea, where the Worshipful Master, Senior and Junior Wardens, Senior Deacon, Director of Ceremonies and Inner Guard were all substitutes.
Oliver Thomas was initiated into freemasonry in fine form by the temporary officers. Oliver is a “Lewis” being the son of a Mason, Dave Thomas who was proud as punch.
The meeting was followed by a sumptuous meal where the military banter was flowing.
