Dafty Oars race for Mentoring Plus

The Vale of Brislington Lodge entered two boats in the Bath Dragon Boat race recently: the “Dafty Oars” were back to regain their title as champions, with their boats crewed by masons, family members and friends:

They were raising money for Mentoring Plus, a local charity helping underprivileged children; with sponsorship and gift aid, they raised £3,100 for this wonderful charity: https://mentoringplus.net/

Despite their strenuous efforts:

unfortunately, they did not win but came third overall, with each team member receiving a bronze medal:
