New Master at Emergency Services Lodge

Ainsley Bird took over from Graeme Clark as the new Master of Emergency Services Lodge on Thursday 14th Sept. in Taunton, It was a warm and friendly meeting with many of the officers of the Lodge performing well, in particular the younger members delivering the tools, including the ever present Barry Renwick, leaving his seat behind the organ!

The presiding officer was Ian Evans the Provincial Junior Warden, With Steve Coles as his DC. Ian had to work for his dinner that night, not only giving the address to the new Master, he also helped to install the Lodge Communications Officer and Royal Arch representative as well as presenting a Grand Lodge Certificate to Bro Simon Pidgeon.

The Lodge is growing well with 5 new candidates in the pipeline and several joining members, increasing the Lodge size to over 40 in the coming months.

Barrie Palmer was in fine voice singing the new Masters Song getting everyone to join the chorus. With many guests in attendance it was a lovely evening followed by a superb meal of, fishcakes, Steak Pie and Pavlova, with everyone leaving feeling content and very full!
