Coleridge Lodge Donation to Nailsea Memory Café

Coleridge IPM Peter Niccol has been a volunteer at Nailsea Memory Café for over five years. The group meets every Wednesday at the Tithe Barn in Nailsea between 2.15pm and 4.15pm offering support for people with dementia and also a care-partner discussion and support group. Members attend from Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead and surrounding areas. The Café is extremely popular and oversubscribed at present. They always need volunteers so if any Brother is interested please contact Peter who would be happy to explain what it entails and to pass your details on.

At the Memory Café meeting On Wednesday 6th September in company with David Bussell the Lodge Charity Steward and Paul Hinkley representing Somerset Masonic Charities, Peter was delighted to present Care Coordinator Karen Smith with a cheque from the Lodge for £500. Added to this was a donation from the SMC of an additional £250. Peter chose the Memory Café as his nominated charity following his year in office.
