The Membership Challenge & Changes to Visits
At the recent secretaries meeting the Provincial Grand Master Ray Guthrie gave the presentation below, outlining the challenges we currently have and to change the way Provincial Fraternal Visits will be conducted.
In short from January 2024 a member of the “Chain Gang” will be visiting every Lodge each year to discuss the Membership Challenge, as an agenda item. The Installations from this point will be conducted by the Provincial Wardens and other ranking members of the Province.
Provisional dates have been sent to all Lodge Secretaries detailing the proposed date of the visit, following on from the meeting we are asking all Lodge secretaries to please review the date, to make sure the visit can be carried out without too much disruption to your regular meeting.
The confirmed dates of the visits will be sent to all Lodge Secretaries later in the year, when they have been agreed and will be posted on the Website.
By all of us working together we can match this challenge and grow the numbers of Masons in the Province to show the world, the happy and beneficial effect of our Ancient Institution.
