The Palmer Memorial

During a recent visit to the Isle of Wight our very own Brian Clayton discovered a water trough in Bembridge Harbour which was dedicated to a well respected mason and who was also the Past Grand Chaplin of the Grand Lodge of England, amongst other distinguished posts.

The trough was dedicated in 1910 for the Rev Palmer and the memorial is dedicated with Masonic emblems.

Pictures and story kindly sent in by Brian S Clayton PPGStwD.
