Tennyson Lodge Welcomes the Provincial Team to their January Meeting
At their January meeting, Tennyson lodge was honoured to receive the Provincial Grand Master, Ray Guthrie, along with seemed like his entire team.
The lodge was opened, a few items of business completed, and the buzzer was pressed to let Barry McCormack, the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies know that the brethren inside the lodge room were ready and waiting to witness the grand event that is a Provincial visit.
Barry came into the room to announce that Right Worshipful Brother Ray was outside the door of the lodge and that he demanded admission. Tony Bryant, the Worshipful Master, was of course only too pleased to welcome Ray into the room, who kept the gavel so that he and his team could conduct what was an extremely well prepared raising for Brother Dave Watts.
After the meeting everyone retired to a very full dining room, where the atmosphere was warm, friendly and lively, where the food was delicious, thanks to Zena and her team, and where there was plenty of time for good conversation with great company. The evening was rounded off with some entertaining toasts and responses, and in particular from Worshipful Brother Scott Gibbons who replied to the visitors toast.
The Worshipful Master, wardens, officers and brethren, of Tennyson lodge, would like to say an extremely large thank you to Ray and the Provincial team for coming out in such large numbers, for doing such first class ritual, and most importantly for making Dave Watt’s raising such a very memorable occasion.
