Perpetual Service at Perpetual Friendship

On Monday 9th January 2023, Norman Tucker continued his perpetual service to the Lodge of Perpetual Friendship, by being reinstalled as the Master. During an excellent ceremony attended by Ray Guthrie the PGM and a goodly number of Grand Officers and Provincial Officers.

Norman last took the chair back in 1991 (not quite since time immemorial) and has been a stalwart of the lodge, being the Director of Ceremonies for the last 26 years! Evidenced by the excellent ritual being displayed by the younger members of the lodge, at recent meetings. Whilst the numbers of the Lodge have dropped in recent years, under the diligent direction of the now Immediate Past Master, Gary Boon, the harmony of this ancient Lodge has been restored and now has a full calendar and a busy year ahead, which they all look forward to. Norman’s experience will definitely come in handy whilst in the chair!
