W.Bro Trevor Cooper 50 years a Mason

At the January meeting of Rural Philanthropic Lodge W.Bro Trevor Cooper received his 50 year service certificate from R.W.Bro David Medlock the Provincial Grand Master. The meeting was also attended by Rulers of other Masonic Orders in and outside the Province of Somerset.

Worshipful Brothers, Richard Winter APGM, Clive Lambert – Deputy Grand Superintendent, Ray Johnson-Smith Inspector General of the Ancient and Accepted Rite, Trevor Cooper, David Medlock PGM, David Palmer Intendant General Red Cross of Constantine.

 Initiated on 1st January 1971 into Rural Philanthropic Lodge which meets at Burnham on Sea. He is currently a Past PrSGW for the Province of Somerset.

Trevor has been the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler for Somerset in the Order of the Secret Monitor since 2011 and during that time he has worked unstintingly to take the Order forward in Somerset.

In the Ancient and Masonic Order of the Scarlet Cord, he is currently the Deputy Provincial Grand Summus in the Province of Somerset and Dorset. Trevor is also the Provincial Grand Master for Somerset in the Royal Order of Scotland.

Trevor is a well known and respected Freemason throughout our Province and beyond, we congratulate him on his amazing 50 years in Masonry.
