Being WM during a ‘quiet’ year, we decided to embark on a Lockdown project.
When I first joined the (World Famous) Portcullis Lodge no:2038, I was told that stars on the ceiling represented the constellation in the night of the consecration, in 1884. (It didn’t, but a nice idea)…
So, once the decorating was completed by our wonderful Secretary & his merry men, I did some research, obtained the Star charts from July 1884 and (after several attempted methods) with laser pointer in Secretary’s hand, I clambered up the scaffold, to recreate the star pattern from that very evening.
Once completed, I splashed out on some new chairs!!
