MTSFC Somerset Branch Upcoming Events

Wednesday the 15th of March was the last regular committee meeting held for The Somerset Branch of the Masonic Trout and Fishing Charity. The venue Jacklands Fishing Lakes Tickenham NR Nailsea.

This was a very productive meeting, three local events have been planned for this year, a Fishing day for a local SEN school for the end of March, a military charity event for July and another SEN School event for October.

These events could not take place without the generosity of others, we are actively fund raising throughout the County, we are always looking for others to volunteer helping out at these events if you would like to donate or volunteer please get in touch via our website www.mtsfc.org.uk Or email: mtsfcsomerset@gmail.com.

We have received some funding from some Local Lodges in the North West of the province with Woodspring Lodge 8791 donating £250 and Wraxall Lodge 9011 Pledging £1500 towards the charity we thank them for their kind generosity as we say this will go along way to catching smiles.

After the meeting we all had a social fish on the main lake, the trout were not so happy to play ball but some did. A very productive and jolly meeting for our committee, our volunteers and The Somerset Branch of the MTSFC.
