Gerard Lodge Keep It In The Family
Gerard Lodge, met recently at Keynsham Masonic Hall, to conduct a very special Initiation.
Worshipful Brother Tony Joiner OBE, Installed into the Chair of King Solomon in June, realised his dream by Initiating his Granddaughter’s husband, Liam Smith.
Tony explained that Liam had shown an interest in Freemasonry for some time and was absolutely delighted when asked by “Granddad” if he would like to join Gerard Lodge.
A marvellous ceremony was conducted by Worshipful Brother Tony, to very high standard.
Worshipful Brother Tony went on to say, “I was so proud to have the opportunity to initiate Liam, he will make an excellent Mason”
An enjoyable evening was had by all, with lively and friendly discussion at the festive board.
The Lodge is looking forward to their December meeting, when they will conduct Liam’s 2nd Degree Ceremony.
