The Masonic Fishing Charity, The Somerset Branch Meeting

On Wednesday the 14th of June 2023 we held our normal committee meeting at Jacklands Fishing Lakes Tickenham NR Nailsea. The full committee was there and a wonderful meeting we had too, we’re almost set and ready to put on in July 2023 our services personnel fishing day, for past, present and serving armed forces etc with PTSD and other disabilities.

After the meeting joining the committee were many of our volunteers, we had a wonderful lunch and coffee in the Jacklands Farm Shop cafe, with lots of jovial banter and Cameraderie.

After lunch we all headed out on the lake for an afternoons social fly fishing (fluff chucking) alas the trout were not in the mood but one of our volunteers caught a nice roach on the fly.

We all said happy to meet, happy to part and happy to meet again.
