Once a Mason Always a Mason Making the choice to join Freemasonry is a big decision as for most, it is a lifetime commitment. Deciding which lodge to join is an important one. Your first lodge is called your “Mother Lodge”. No matter where life may take you, you will always be welcomed back to your mother lodge. Your fellow brothers will also become your friends for life.
Why Choose King Alfred? There are a total of 6 craft lodges in Weston Masonic Hall so what makes us different to all the rest? Firstly, you’ll become part of a new family, we pride ourselves on the warm and friendly atmosphere our lodge creates, and your brothers are there to help guide you and nurture you through your masonic career. You’ll be assigned a buddy and a mentor to help ease you into various aspects of masonry. And as part of the team, you will also be encouraged to take part in rituals and ceremonies, something which King Alfred strives to perfect every month. Guided Learning and Self-Development is also encouraged. Not only is our junior brethren important to us but so is our older more experienced brothers especially during times of need. Our Almoner and assistant almoner play a crucial role in this support. We welcome candidates from all walks of life and across all age groups to join our masonic family.

What to do next? Should you feel like you want to enquire further into our lodge, please don’t hesitate to contact me, Chris Whitehead, the Membership Officer for King Alfred at the following email address. KaLodgemembership@proton.me
On behalf of everyone at our lodge, I wish you all the best.
