More Than 90 Brethren Gather as Provincial Team Raises Candidate at Olympian Lodge
Ninety brethren gathered at Nailsea Masonic Hall on Friday 12th June as Olympian Lodge welcomed the Somerset Provincial Team for a memorable evening of Freemasonry.

There was a real sense of anticipation as brethren from across the Province came together to support Daniel Michael Dowling on the next stage of his Masonic journey. The strong attendance, coupled with the active involvement of many Provincial Team members, created an atmosphere that was both engaging and uplifting.
The Provincial Grand Master, Ray Guthrie, invited Assistant Provincial Grand Master Graham Puddy to take the Chair and lead the Third Degree ceremony. Supported by a highly capable Provincial Team, Graham delivered an excellent ceremony which culminated in Daniel being Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason.
Beyond the ceremony itself, the evening reflected the importance of working together as a Province. Conversations centred on the Somerset 2031 Festival, community engagement and the opportunities ahead for Freemasonry in Somerset. These themes clearly resonated with many present and reinforced the positive direction in which the Province is travelling.

Olympian Lodge proved to be outstanding hosts throughout. A superb festive board, excellent service and the opportunity to spend time with old friends and new acquaintances rounded off an evening that many brethren described as both enjoyable and memorable.
Our thanks go to the Worshipful Master, officers and brethren of Olympian Lodge for their warm welcome and hospitality, and to everyone who contributed to another successful Provincial Team Visit.
