Forest of Mendip Visit Grand Lodge

After several of the FoM brethren asked if we could arrange a visit to Grand Lodge, our then Mentor Ian “Bubbs” Burbage put the wheels in motion and the trip was booked. Leaving Yatton by coach they headed straight to Great Queen Street for an official organised tour around the building. The tour taking in the Museum, vestibules and the Grand Temple.

Some of the brethren warming up the “Big Chair!” They then had time to visit the shop and to grab a drink in the cafe. Then via a pub or two it was on to the Palm Court Restaurant in Covent Garden for a great meal.

After a slow trip back on the coach where there was a few tired eyes they reached Yatton at 10 pm.
