Estune Lodge give support to local Ravenswood School. 

After learning of a major expenditure on new playground equipment the brethren of Estune Lodge, Nailsea were quick to offer financial support. The brethren supported by a grant from Somerset Province donated £5,000. 

Ravenswood Special School is in Nailsea and supports pupils across North Somerset with Education, Health and Care Plans who have additional needs in relation to Autistic Spectrum Disorder; Speech, Language and Communication; Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning 2 Difficulties, Visual Impairment needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health. 

Headmaster Mark Senior (right) invited Charity Steward Martin Hockley (left) and Almoner Eric Sortwell to the school to view the impressive new playground equipment that had cost circa £70,000. Mark expressed his gratitude for the help provided and reported the playground is being well use by their KS 2 pupils, while is used for enjoyment, it also helps regulate the pupils, so they are ready for learning, which of course is a great bonus for the staff in the classroom.

Martin and Eric were delighted to see a plaque organised by the school prominently displayed as a thank you to the brethren of Estune.
