Tivoli summer BBQ

WM Chris Millard and his wife Mary welcomed brethren and guests to the Tivoli Lodge
Summer BBQ, an event that once again proved to be a highlight of the season.

This year’s BBQ was hosted by WM Mike Dew and his wife Patricia, whose hard work and
hospitality set the tone for a wonderful afternoon. As ever, Mr Paul Dew took command of
the grill, and he certainly didn’t disappoint. The food was not only plentiful but absolutely
fantastic — a real credit to his skill and effort.

The weather held beautifully: warm, slightly cloudy, and perfect for an outdoor gathering.
The atmosphere was relaxed, cheerful, and full of good conversation, with over 65+ guests in
attendance.

A generous selection of raffle prizes had been donated by those present, including a
handcrocheted blanket made by Patricia and a homemade cake crafted by Liz Kennedy
both of which drew plenty of admiration.

Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day, filled with companionship, good food, and
community spirit. Tivoli Lodge extends its thanks to everyone who attended and contributed
to making the event such a success.

The monies raised was an incredible £787.86 for the ‘Aishah’s Food Charity´
Chris and Mary would like to thank everyone for their company and for raising such a
fantastic sum of monies.
