Southey Ladies Night raises over £1,000 for local Hospital

On Saturday 21 March 2026, Steve Derwin of Southey Lodge held his Charity Ladies’ Night Gala Dinner at the Walton Park Hotel in Clevedon.

The evening was a great success, well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present. Steve thanks all those who took part in the various fundraising activities and for making generous donations throughout the evening in support of the Worshipful Master’s chosen charity.

On Saturday 22 August, a hub buffet lunch was held at Clevedon Masonic Hall, where a cheque for £1,000 was presented to David Fife, Chairman of the Friends of North Somerset Cottage Hospitals.  A further £500 was donated by province which was very appreciated by David and his team.

The funds will support the charity’s appeal to purchase a slit lamp machine, helping patients who have experienced eye trauma to receive appropriate assessment and care.
