Loyal Vacation Flying The Flag For Masonry

Following their successful stand at Wiveliscombe Fair on 15th August, Loyal Vacation Lodge also had a stand, located outside Jubilee Gardens, at the very well attended Wiveliscombe Street Fair on Sunday 13th September. A team of lodge members again worked in shifts to answer questions about the work the lodge carries out and the fund-raising events that are held at Wiveliscombe Masonic Hall. A PowerPoint presentation of Freemasonry origins and lodge work was again playing on a screen during the day.

The team also sold a significant number of draw tickets, with proceeds going to charity, to win bottles of wine and whiskey.
This was another valuable public relations and engagement exercise in the local community for the lodge and interested members of the public were given membership information booklets.
