Taunton Dean Chapter special convocation

The Companions of Taunton Deane Chapter and their guests gathered at the Masonic Hall in Taunton on Friday 5th September. It was the first time that the Chapter did not follow strict Aldersgate working. During the summer the DC. had divided the ritual so that both J and H were involved in the Exaltation.
E. Comp. Kevin Hill acted as Z and assisted by E. Comp. Maldwyn Davies as H and E. Comp. Colin Martin as J.

At the end of the ceremony the Principals congratulated and welcomed  Comp. Ollie Judd into the Chapter. It was a special occasion as Comp. Ollies father Comp. Gary Judd and Brother Nick Judd were in attendance to watch the ceremony.

The Companions retired to the festive board of Roast Lamb followed by Apple Pie and Cream cooked by the caterer Karen Dingle. Comp. Gary Judd a very proud father proposed the toast to his son/brother and now Companion, also Comp Richard Wilson responded to the toast to the visitors in his usual inimitable style.

The Companions departed în good spirits having enjoyed an excellent ceremony and festive board.
