Taunton Deane Chapter Keeps On Giving

Taunton Deane Chapter were recently pleased to donate to two local Taunton charities, to assist them with their vital work and the support they provide to their clients. Cheques for £200 each were handed over to Somerset Sight, as well as The League Of Friends Of Musgrove Park Hospital.

Pictured are James Holiday (Immediate Past Z) and Peter Ashby (Charity Steward) of the Chapter, presenting cheques (above left) to Nigel Handbury – Chair of the League of Friends Of Musgrove, who advised that the money would go to specialist orthopaedic chairs for the benefit of the hospital patients. Also above right, the second cheque is presented to Christine Briggs, Vice Chair of the Trustees of Somerset Sight.
