The Provincial Chapter Team help at King Alfred
The members of King Alfred chapter, have been considering adopting the Savage Club ritual for their exaltation ceremonies, and so at their June meeting, where Andy Wade, Provincial 3rd Grand Principal was attending to give an update on progress with the membership challenge, there was a great opportunity to get some expert help from members of the Provincial Team.
Martin, Provincial Principal Grand Sojourner, Richard Hicken, Provincial 1st Assistant Grand Sojourner and Richard Kilburn, Provincial 2nd Assistant Grand Sojourner stepped in to help demonstrate the ceremony assisted by Ian Clift, Provincial Grand Steward, Angus Ross, Provincial Deputy Grand Director of ceremonies, Geoff Lester, Provincial Grand Charity Steward and the Principal Officers of King Alfred Chapter.
The demonstration was well received by the members of the Chapter along with a small delegation from Concord Chapter who had travelled across from Trowbridge specifically to witness this ritual.
On a busy evening, where the three Principals for the next year were elected and The Membership Challenge update was presented, by Andy Wade also had time to present Supreme Grand Chapter certificates to Peter Wrigglesworth and Lee Crago before we retired to the dining room for an enjoyable festive board.
