Chapter Of St George Installation Report

The Chapter Of St George convened in early May for its installation meeting at Taunton Masonic Hall with Mike Meatyard being installed as 1st Principle (Zerubbabel), Peter Russell as 2nd Principle (Haggai) and Neal Hansley inducted as 3rd Principle (Joshua).

Excellent Companion Geoff Lester was in attendance to represent the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over Somerset and was ably supported by Matt Williams Provincial ADC. Excellent Companion Ken Clarke was thanked for the further additional support he has provided to the Chapter this past year, with an unplanned but necessary additional year as Z.

The Chapter approved Excellent Companion Ray Baines as a joining member and with candidates for future exaltations lined up, there is plenty to keep the new Chapter Officers busy this season.

After the hard work was completed in the temple, the Companions enjoyed a fantastic Festive Board courtesy of 5* Karen & her team and greatly enjoyed each others company.
