St Kew Summer Sizzler

On Saturday 27 July, St Kew lodge No.1222 held their annual summer BBQ, at Château Hughes. A great afternoon of great company, food and the odd tipple. The event was well supported and £370 was raised for the Weston-Super-Mare Lifeboat, who are raising funds to move back onto their old station on the old pier in Weston.

A big thanks goes to Karen and W.Bro Martin Hughes for agreeing to host the event and some very special home baked favourites for dessert. Also, a big thank you to Bro Rich Walter’s and his wife Dizzy for their help in making the day run smoothly.

It is a tradition in St Kew for the master of the lodge to host a summer BBQ and we are very much looking forward to Bro. Walter BBQ next year.
