Connaught Lodge do it Again

Following on from our Christmas Dinner at which a Festive Hamper was auctioned for the benefit of
the ‘SWALLOW’ Charity, we went to their café at The Hive in Peasedown St John on Tuesday 16
January to present a cheque for £200. £!00 having been raised at the auction and a further £100 from
the Lodge Charity Fund. Nicky Tew, Fundraising and Finance Manager at SWALLOW said, “We are
delighted with the donation from the Connaught Lodge of Freemason as we rely on voluntary
donations like this to be able to continue our work.”

The charity provides support for teenagers and adults with learning difficulties so they can live their
lives to the full. SWALLOW stands for: ‘South West Action for Learning and Living Our Way.’ For
