Exmoor Lodge No. 2390 – Stand at DunsterCountry Fair – Wednesday 29 th July 2026

Exmoor Freemasons Lodge No. 2390 based in, Minehead, took Freemasonry into the heart of the community by hosting a dedicated public engagement stand at the Dunster Country Fair, on Wednesday 29th July 2026.

Members of the Lodge set up a prominent gazebo on the bustling ex-polo fields
overseen by the impressive Dunster Castle, West Somerset. The team spent the day
engaging with the public, chatting with locals and visitors and answering questions
about the craft.

The initiative focused on open communication and community connection. The
Exmoor Brethren handed out informative leaflets highlighting:

 Core values: Principles of integrity, friendship, respect, and charity.
 Local impact: How Somerset Freemasons support regional charities and
community projects.
 Membership pathways: How modern men can join and benefit from the
fraternity.

The initiative was met with warm interest from the public and a positive reception.
Many fairgoers stopped by to learn more about Freemasonry and its role in the
modern world, making the day a fantastic success for local outreach.
