Burnham on Sea Freemasons thank local couple for their generosity

For several years a married couple in Burnham on Sea have donated sums of money to the Freemasons in Burnham on Sea, with the stipulations that it be used to decorate the Town and for personal reasons for them to be kept anonymous.

John Chinn the Charity Steward in Burnham, who has liaised with them over the years, wanted to say thank you, without too much Fuss and fanfare, as well as keeping their identity a secret

He therefore arranged for this plaque to be made and attached to a post along the High St, so everyone could share in their thanks.

The couple have provided funds (amounts to be kept anonymous as well) to provide flowers for the planters etc along the High St for the past several years, giving it a splash of colour which many residents and holiday makers have made comment upon.

John said they wanted to thank the Freemasons for all they do and have done for the town over the years.
