Sylvanus Lodge Honours Two Masonic Stalwarts

Recently, Sylvanus Lodge, the Somerset’s Field Sports Lodge, marked a very special occasion as two of its founding members and longstanding stalwarts celebrated remarkable milestones in Freemasonry.

David Houghton PPrGReg celebrated 50 years in Freemasonry, while David Hobbs PJGD celebrated an extraordinary 60 years.

Both began from humble beginnings and have followed very different Masonic journeys. What has always united them, however, is their shared interest in country pursuits and their commitment to the Lodge.

Their Masonic journeys are far from over, and both continue to play an important part in the life of Sylvanus Lodge. Their friendship, experience and commitment remain greatly valued by the Brethren, and we look forward to sharing many more meetings and memories with them in the years ahead.
